Readable play
Compact geometry could make the trajectory and scoring outcomes ambiguous.
ResponseUsed stepped surfaces, concentric target rings, separators and direct 0–3 point labels.
02 · Integrated product architecture
A tabletop system packaging a manual launcher, controlled ball path, scoring targets and return space into one printable enclosure.

Launcher · Lane · Target box · Scoring zones · Return space
01 / Project overview
The system coordinates launch, flight path, targets, scoring and enclosure architecture. Nine archived 3MF packages show that the product was refined over multiple versions rather than produced as a one-off model.
02 / Design challenge
A small enclosure still needed a readable ball path, distinct outcomes and parts that could be printed, assembled and serviced.
Compact geometry could make the trajectory and scoring outcomes ambiguous.
ResponseUsed stepped surfaces, concentric target rings, separators and direct 0–3 point labels.
Many functional surfaces would be difficult to manufacture as one body.
ResponseSeparated ramps, boxes, pins, panels, launcher pieces and scoring inserts into a modular assembly.
03 / Engineering approach
The enclosure is not only a shell. Its geometry guides the launch, contains the ball, communicates the score and supports assembly. Versioning preserved how those relationships evolved.
Compress an arcade-style launch and scoring loop into a tabletop product.
Separate functional parts so they remain printable and serviceable.
Use physical zones and numerical labels to make outcomes immediate.
Preserve successive packages, fabricate and demonstrate the final configuration.
Prototype development

Testing & iteration
The archive preserves nine 3MF files from v8 through v16, alongside CAD screenshots, physical photographs and a hands-on demonstration.
Documented project evidence
No written design journal accompanied the archive. The case study reports only what is directly supported by versioned CAD packages, screenshots, photographs and video.
06 / Outcome
The working prototype makes the scoring target, manual launcher and integrated enclosure visible as one coordinated product.
