Yiming completed seven years of professional classical piano studies and graduated with the highest final evaluation. Years of disciplined study shaped the same structural thinking, precision and attention to detail that later influenced his approach to engineering and composition.

Collaborative performance
For a school performance, Yiming composed a work for the orchestra and adapted each section to the musicians’ individual styles while performing the piano part himself.
The project expanded through collaboration with the art department. Students created animation and artwork using digital tools, watercolor and colored pencils, bringing live music and visual narrative together for the wider school community.
