Through Engineering Society, Yiming developed teaching skills, presentation ability, technical communication and team leadership. The work required more than knowing how a mechanism operates: it required anticipating where understanding might break down and designing a better path through the idea.
Lessons combined visual explanation, physical components and guided experimentation so students could connect theory to observable motion.
