01 / Project overview
The prototype mounts below a real door handle and operates the installed lock through a printed mechanism, enclosure, actuator, wiring and control electronics. The available archive identifies the work as a collaboration between Yiming and Paarth.
02 / Design challenge
The prototype had to work with an existing lock rather than replace the door hardware, while keeping moving parts, electronics and wiring within a narrow mounted enclosure.

03 / Engineering approach
The project packages the lock interface, actuator, mount, control components and wiring around the geometry of the real door.
Work around the door, handle rose, lock position and available clearances.
Create a multi-part enclosure, circular interface and actuator mount.
Route wiring and place control components inside the mechanical housing.
Mount the complete assembly and record it in the intended environment.

Testing & integration
The final evidence shows the assembled system mounted beneath the door handle with the electrical and mechanical layers operating together.
Shared project scope
This project was completed by Yiming Aizezi and Paarth. The archive contains no task-allocation record, so mechanical design, electronics, integration and testing are credited to the team. No subsystem is claimed here as Yiming’s work alone.
06 / Outcome
The result integrates printed mechanics and exposed electronics within one enclosure and demonstrates the complete system on the real door.
